Important Notes
- 1A student’s primary major degree will be withheld until all requirements for the double major have been completed. A student who has not completed the double major and has not withdrawn from it cannot graduate with the primary major.
- 2Students who discontinue their double major must complete the same curriculum requirements as general students.
- 3A student who discontinues a double major after fulfilling the requirements for recognition of a minor may apply to change the double major to a minor. Students who have already completed all coursework requirements cannot change to a minor after discontinuing the double major and may graduate only with their primary major.
- 4If a student scheduled to return from a leave of absence is accepted for a minor or double major but does not return to the University, the approval will be revoked.
- 5Students may not apply for both a minor and a double major in the same department or major.
- 6For minors, students who applied previously and are currently completing the program are subject to the existing primary major graduation credit requirements. Beginning with applicants for the first semester of the 2023 academic year, the primary major credit requirement is uniformly set at 60 credits.
