Graduation Requirements for INU Dept. of Public Administration
- Complete the required curriculum, obtain the Graduation English Qualification, and pass the interview.
- Graduation Credits: Students admitted before 2007; 140 credits or more
Number of Credits
Liberal Arts ( Required + Elective) Credits
- Graduation Credits for Liberal Arts (Liberal Arts Requirements, Liberal Arts Electives, Basic Sciences)
- Students admitted before 2007: A minimum of 25
- Students admitted in 2008 or later: A minimum of 25 to 55 credits
- Students admitted in 2012 or later: A minimum of 30 to 55 credits
ex) If you earn 56 credits, your GPA will reflect all 56 credits, but only 55 credits will be recognized for graduation (1 credit will be disregarded).
- Liberal Arts Required (Liberal Arts Basics, INU Core Liberal Arts) Graduation Credits
- Students admitted before 2015
- A minimum of 6 liberal arts credits (1 course related to a Korean subject and 4 credits related to English)
- Students admitted in 2016 or later
- A minimum of 6 liberal arts basic credits: 2 credits for a Korean subject, 2 credits for English (University English or Academic English), and 2 credits for English Conversation)
- Students admitted in 2017~2018
- A minimum of 6 liberal arts basic credits: 2 credits for a Korean subject, 2 credits for English (University English or Academic English), 2 credits for English Conversation), and 6 credits for University Math (Natural Science and Engineering)
- Students admitted in 2019 or later (Transferred in after 2019)
- A minimum of 6~14 liberal arts basic credits: 2 credits for a Korean subject, 2 credits for English (University English or Academic English), 2 credits for English Conversation), 2 credits for SW, and 6 credits for University Math (Natural Science and Engineering)
- Complete at least 1 course in each of 3 of the 5 INU core liberal arts areas
- Students admitted before 2015
The Basic Liberal Arts SW, University Mathematics courses can be checked in the Liberal Arts course on the Basic Education Center website.
Students admitted in 2008 or later should check their department's liberal arts restricted courses (not applicable for graduation credits)
Major Credits
- Students admitted before 2009: Complete at least 51 credits, including major basics and major requirements
- Students admitted in 2010 or later: Complete at least 60 credits, including major basics and major requirements
Double major credits: At least 42 credits for each primary major and double major (Major basics and major requirements (double major requirements))
Minor credits: At least 21 credits (including minor requirements)
Graduation Qualifications and Criteria
- Application period: 1st semester: until 6/30, 2nd semester: until 12/31
Certification Procedure
- Apply for "English Graduate Qualification" directly on the portal website (recommended to apply during the graduation semester)
- Upload a supporting document (transcript) file (PDF)

Exceptions
- The students who have already completed their studies or are about to graduate and are already employed can be exempted through the prescribed application process.
